SMS Tracking
If you decide to opt for the SMS tracking bundle, this allows you to receive instant location reports to your mobile phone via text message. When you subscribe to the SMS service, you will be provided with a telephone number for the tracker – you can then send this number an SMS command from your mobile phone which will prompt the FS400 GPS tracker to respond with a location report including a Google Maps link.

The device will only respond to authorised numbers so you will need to provide your preferred phone number when ordering the SMS option.
The subscription includes a maximum of 500 SMS location reports per year.
Note: You can still monitor the live location of your vehicle 24/7 via the iTrack Live Platform and smart phone app without the SMS subscription – this is just an optional extra.
Connecting the FS400
Installing the FS400 GPS tracker is very easy and you should have no problems if you follow the instructions carefully. Â If you are unsure and do not feel comfortable or confident installing the device then you should as a professional auto-electrician to install it for you. Â The device should be connected to the vehicle battery or a permanent live power supply.
Nationwide Installation Service
If you would prefer your FS400 to be discreetly installed (such as behind the vehicle dashboard), we have a network of fully qualified engineers that can covertly install your tracking device into your vehicle – the process usually takes around 60 minutes. We can visit your home, work or even car dealership to perform the installation. (UK mainland only)

The cost of installation is £95 and we aim for it to be completed within 14 days from order, but usually sooner than this.
Please note, we only install at UK mainland addresses excluding islands and highlands. If you are unsure if your address is included, please get in touch and we will be happy to confirm. A full refund will be issued if we are unable to carry out the installation at your preferred address.
Failed installations
Once you have booked a suitable installation date with our dedicated install team, you will be sent a confirmation email with the agreed date and location. We will then send you a reminder email the day before your installation and you will also receive an update on the day of the installation with a time window when the driver is on the way.
If nobody is present at the installation address and the install is unable to be completed, an additional charge of £95 will apply if you wish to arrange another date. We will not refund the cost of the installation if the engineer is unable to perform the installation.
