CARAVAN ANGEL® by iTrack

If you own a caravan, then you will be aware of how common caravan theft is in the UK and Europe. As the popularity of caravanning has seen a meteoric rise, together with supply shortages – the demand for caravans is very high. 

The Caravan Angel® is a dedicated caravan tracking device which has been developed to give you the ability to monitor the location of your caravan and offers the maximum opportunity to recover in the unfortunate event of theft. The problem with standard tracking devices is that the thieves know where to look because there are a limited number of places to install, as power is usually required. The Caravan Angel® is a battery powered device that can be installed practically anywhere in the caravan, including cushion padding, cavities and cupboards, internally or externally.

Geofence technology allows you to create a virtual boundary around your caravan storage area and be alerted if the caravan leaves the zone – perfect for scenarios where caravans are left in remote storage.

It is quite common for insurance companies to reject theft claims for many reasons, so recovering your caravan is often crucial. Fitting a Caravan Angel can also lower your insurance premium (insurance providers vary).

The device is equipped with a specialist Li-SOCI2 battery which offers a battery life up to 3 years. By default, the Caravan Angel® will upload it’s position to the iTrack Live software once every 24 hours when stationary, and once every 15 minutes once towing is detected – these intervals can be customised. The battery will last approximately 1000 location records – so 1000 days if the device was constantly parked. The battery can be replaced – available from our shop.
